# CHARACTER_LENGTH

*LSL constant*

```lsl
integer CHARACTER_LENGTH = 3;
```

Sets the collision capsule length for a pathfinding character. If the value is less than twice the radius plus 0.1m, it automatically adjusts to twice the radius plus 0.1m.

Constant groups: [CharacterParam](/constants/groups/CharacterParam/)

Constant used to indicate that the following argument is the length of the capsule for a [Pathfinding](https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Pathfinding) character. This is used to help denote the size of the character.
