# DATA_SIM_POS

```

Used with llRequestSimulatorData to return the region's global position as a vector.

Constant groups: [SimulatorData](/constants/groups/SimulatorData/)

returns vector in [global coordinates](https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Viewer_coordinate_frames#global)

## Known issues

From the issue templates included by the wiki article:

- BUG-5031 (bug): llRequestSimulatorData for DATA_SIM_POS returns same position for multiple regions
