# PRIM_GLTF_BASE_COLOR

*LSL constant*

```lsl
integer PRIM_GLTF_BASE_COLOR = 48;
```

Prim parameter to get or set the GLTF base color override of an object's face. Requires face, texture, repeats, offsets, rotation, linear_color (in linear space; use llsRGB2Linear), alpha_mode (PRIM_GLTF_ALPHA_MODE_*), alpha_cutoff, and double_sided arguments.

Constant groups: [PrimParam](/constants/groups/PrimParam/), [PrimParamGet](/constants/groups/PrimParamGet/)

Used to get or set the [GLTF](https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/GLTF_Overrides) base color override of an object's `face`.

## Caveats

- **repeats** is not only used to set the number of repeats but the sign of the individual components is also used to set the "Flip" attribute.
- To clear any override parameters, supply an empty string ("") in the parameter slot.
- **tint_color** is in linear RGB color space, unlike legacy tint that uses sRGB. Use [llsRGB2Linear](/functions/llsRGB2Linear/) and [llLinear2sRGB](/functions/llLinear2sRGB/) to perform conversions.
- In the [default](/constants/PRIM_TEXGEN_DEFAULT/) [texture mapping](/constants/PRIM_TEXGEN/) **tg_type** the [texture](/constants/PRIM_GLTF_BASE_COLOR/) **repeats** units are in texture repeats per face. In the [planar](/constants/PRIM_TEXGEN_PLANAR/) texture mapping mode the texture **repeats** units are in texture repeats per half meter. This is in contrast to the in-world editing tool, in which the planar texture scaling units are repeats per meter.
