# llSetInventoryPermMask

*LSL function (privileged function)*

```lsl
void llSetInventoryPermMask(string item, integer group, integer flags);
```

- `string item`: Name of the item in the prim's inventory.
- `integer group`: MASK_* group (e.g., MASK_BASE, MASK_OWNER, MASK_GROUP, MASK_EVERYONE, or MASK_NEXT) to set.
- `integer flags`: Bitfield of permissions (PERM_* flags) to set.

- Energy: 10

Sets the given permission `category` to the new `value` on the inventory **item**.
