# llSetTorque

*LSL function*

```lsl
void llSetTorque(vector torque, integer is_local);
```

- `vector torque`: Torque rotational force vector.
- `integer is_local`: Boolean. If TRUE, torque is treated as a local vector; if FALSE, as a global region vector.

- Energy: 10

Applies a constant torque rotational force to a physical object. If local is TRUE, torque is applied in local coordinates; if FALSE, applied in global coordinates.

Sets the **torque** of object (if the script is physical)

```lsl title="How to use" frame="terminal"
llSetTorque(ZERO_VECTOR, 0);
```

## Examples

<summary>Example 1</summary>

```lsl
default
{
    touch_start(integer total_number)
    {
        llSetTorque(<0,10,0>,1);
                   //X  Y Z  Local
    }
}
```
